If I am just getting started as a doula can I still do the Double Your Doula Income Business Mentorship?
Absolutely! Making sure you start your business right will allow you to be successful sooner and avoid burn out!
How much of my time am I committing when I sign up for Doula Training?
Kindred Doula Training & Mentorship is designed to be run at flexible pace, there is about 16 hours of training & mentorship (spread out among several trainings, some of which are online), plus the time spent at 3 births (average for new doulas is 10 - 15 hours), and the rest of the time committed will depend on how quickly you plan to grow your business and your availability, you can plan to finish the training in as little as 3 months or as long as one year. The requirements listed meet the requirements necessary to apply to be a doula for medical (as long as you you complete a CPR & HIPPA training, as well as obtain a business license)
What if I don’t finish is there a way to get a refund.
Your success is important to me, While I provide the tools you need to finish the training, and significantly increase your revenue, I also know that life happens. Because of this I want you to know you can pause your training at any time and just pick up where you left off. Easy Peasy.
How much is Doula Training? And can I make payments?
The Kindred Doula Training program has several “checkpoints.” Each check point can be paid for individually at the time of the training, online courses have a simple process for check out as well. Your total investment will end up being around $1,000 -$1,500 depending on the route you take. Good news is, unlike other companies, I work along side you and make sure you make your money back on training by the time you are certified!!!
When is the deadline to sign up?
The only date that isn’t flexible is the weekend workshop. AUGUST 12th is the registration deadline.
What if I’m at a birth?
Tale as old as time! “Yes… if I’m not at a birth!” If you miss a training because of a birth no worries, we will work to make sure you are at the next one!
When can I start attending births for my certification?
As soon as your application is accepted and your deposit for the weekend workshop is paid, every birth after that counts towards your certification.
How do I find births to attend?
Another unique aspect of Kindred is that we are committed to mentoring you every step of the way, which means we help you find clients, are on call when you are at the birth for advice and support, and make sure you get paid well for your time, even while you’re still learning!
Where are the trainings located?
Part of the training program has self paced online options, the only in-person required training is the weekend workshop, which is held in Riverside CA.
Is the doula mentor different than the business mentorship program?
Yes, can you tell we like mentorship around here? The doula mentor is there to help you navigate your training births successfully, while Double Your Doula Mentorship is designed to help mentor you through the business growth and development process.

Because of the personalized approach to my trainings and mentorship I can only accept a very limited number of applicants, I read each and every application. Please take the time to give mindful answers so I know if we are a good match for mentorship and training.
